Sasha hadn't meant to see Rhys. It was in the street and for a second it was like old times. And then she remembered his affair with his half-sister, Beth.
She could hardly stand to look at him.
"But you're back. Back home I suppose?" He wanted to know with a hug.
She shook her head, no.
"I'm with Cecil now. No way I'd ever want to be in my own home," She couldn't smile about these matters. She felt bad for leaving Lauren there, but things were good with Cecil.
"What? Doesn't he just work at the record shop?" Rhys grimaced as if she should have better taste. Didn't she want a step up in life. Not a step down.
"We're fine," Sash hugged herself. "There is more to Cecil than just the record shop. He has a band. He's working on a clothing line."
"You've moved in with a puff?" Rhys made fun then.
"No." Sasha rolled her eyes. "I'd stop talking that way, you know. You have a very fine brother and he wouldn't want you saying names about him, as you do."
"Its just a phase," Rhys then said about his brother's move in with Simon. "He'll probably be back to his old self by end of summer."
"Stop wishing, Rhys," Sasha snarled back. "You know it never gets you anywhere. Can't you just embrace the situation for what it is. Josh loves Simon. Have you ever really loved anyone as much? Really?"
Rhys sighed. He didn't have an answer for her.
"I'm seeing someone." Rhys told her that he was seeing Kelsy.
"Kelsy who lives above the Black Cat?" Sasha smiled.
"What's so funny?"
"She lives across the hall from Simon and Josh," Sasha said. "Kelsy's also Cecil's sister."
Rhys just stared at her then. "Guess it is a small world after all."
